Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation is a proud member of the Executive Directors Council of the Coastal Bend.

CBAF Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CDIOP)

The Coastal Bend AIDS Foundation will now be providing an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Program (CDIOP).  Individuals referred to the program will receive an Intake through a PHASES Case Manager, and then will be referred to the CDIOP after that process has been successfully completed.  For those that qualify for PHASES support program, the services provided by the CBAF CDIOP will be provided at no cost to the client.  


Upon referral to the CDIOP the Client will be provided with an appointment to receive an intake through the CDIOP staff, which consists of a Biopsychosocial Interview, Financial Screening, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual IV-TR diagnostic screening, and will be provided with additional information at that time regarding participation in the program.


CDIOP Program includes:

•Individual Chemical Dependency Counseling

•Group Chemical Dependency Counseling (process and educational)

•Family Chemical Dependency Educational Groups

•Individual and Family Referrals

•Chemical Dependency Interventions

•Aftercare


The program consists of 16 weeks of Group and Individual Therapy related to Chemical Dependency to include: Substance Abuse Education, Social and Family Support, Early Recovery, and Relapse Prevention.       


12-Step Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and Alcoholic Anonymous (AA) meetings are available Monday through Friday at 12pm.
